This Yorktown wedding will forever be a favorite.
If I had to choose a wedding couple to be most grateful for, it would be Kelsey + Josh. To work with them is to work with some of the absolute sweetest people ever. Kelsey inquired about their wedding at the end of 2021 for their August 2022 wedding, we chatted over FaceTime before they decided they were ready to book! She was the first wedding to book that I didn't know the couple ahead of time, although I'm not sure she knew that haha.
Kelsey + Josh were some of the most easy-going people I have ever met! They got married out on the water in Yorktown, Virginia and had their reception at the Yorktown Freight Shed. Kelsey got ready in an Inn in Yorktown with her bridesmaids and a few other family members, while Josh helped set up and get ready on his own. Because they opted not to do a first look, I was able to capture Josh's reaction at the alter, and let me tell you-the tears were real and sweet. After the ceremony and group photos, they danced the night away to some American and Brazilian music.
Their wedding day was full of the sweetest joy, while still remembering their loved ones who couldn't be there. Their love for the Lord and for each other shined brighter than anything else that day, and their friends and family were a testament to that!
It was such an honor and pleasure getting to work with these two, and I know they're going to do great things together down in Florida!
