Travel Couples Photographer


I've known Lexi for quite some time now as one of my sister's friends, so when my sister asked if I would take her couples/maternity photos down in St. Augustine, Florida, I happily obliged! My sister made the plans with Lexi and her fiancé John to roadtrip down to Florida for a weekend just weeks before her due date.


We left Virginia late one evening and drove through the night, arriving in Lake Butler, FL early that next morning. We enjoyed the weekend relaxing and getting ready for their session on Saturday. It was so nice seeing parts of the state I haven't yet, and so nice getting to see my sister's friend. Traveling for sessions is one of my new favorite things! Being based in Virginia has its perks of being right in the middle of the east coast, and getting to see the sunset in other parts of the country is so fulfilling.


We chased the last 20 minutes of light at the beach for their photos, and the outcome couldn't have been sweeter. I'm so grateful I got to be a part of such special memories for Lexi + John, especially since they had their baby just three days later!
