Intimate Tea Time Styled Shoot in Richmond, Virginia

As a naturally anxious person, especially when it comes to social situations, this styled shoot at Contrast RVA was a little out of my comfort zone. I had been wanting to do something like this for awhile when the Richmond photography studio shared that they were hosting an affordable styled shoot at their business. I immediately purchased tickets, and had so much fun being there with other photographers! Styled shoots are great for photographers to get their creative juices flowing and to just have fun with fellow creatives. They're so fun for photographers of all skill levels.

The shoot included a bridal couple, one bride, a table setup, multiple flat lays, and the prettiest backdrop made from picture frames. The vendors who worked to make this day run smoothly were amazing, and I'll for sure make sure they're posted down below. I started off with Erin, the beautiful bride, and then moved onto Kaitlin and her husband for the couple portraits! Both sets of models were so easy to work with and were pretty comfortable in front of the camera.

I loved how unique this wedding setup was. It inspired me, and I hope it will inspire you to make your wedding day exactly what you want it to be! Whether you want to elope in another country or have an intimate wedding at a small venue, your day is about you, and that's all that matters. You can include as much or as little as you want into your special day, and it can be as simple or as niche as you want it to be!
