Wedding day details are just as important...
When you think about your wedding day; your mind probably immediately goes to the bride and groom portraits, photos with your favorite people, or the big first kiss! But, in my opinion, it's those little wedding day details that MAKE your wedding gallery.
As a wedding photographer myself, I try to start off each timeline/wedding day with the details photos. You picked the venue for a reason, so it needs to be captured! While I walk the property and get a feel for where everything will take place, I'll also get photos of the ceremony and reception place. This includes even the little things like the sky, the grounds, etc. These photos set the tone for the rest of the day and when your wedding gallery starts with them; you really start to get into the mood.
Another important aspect of details photos you may have seen before includes the standard bridal details, especially your dress and rings. The smaller items are usually laid out in the form a flat lay or something similar. I love these photos to help encapsulate all the little things that you've put together to make your day so sweet. You can include as little or as much as you'd like. Read the list below of some of my favorite things to include in details photos!
Details Items:
- Wedding Dress
- Bride and groom's shoes
- Bride's jewelry (necklace, earrings, etc)
- Groom's watch
- Bride and groom's rings
- Bride and groom's fragrances
- Extra stationary (invitation suite)
- Extra florals
Details photos should set the tone of your beautiful day, and I hope this helped note the significance!
